About Wake Me There

Wake Me There is an application for the mobile platform, currently it is supported on iPhone only.
|
|
|
Wake Me There is a smart Alarm Clock that is activated when you reach your destination and not on a specific time. It uses the Location Services available on the Mobile Platform to track your position and when you get close to your destination, it will activate the alarm.
|
|
|
Wake Me There is implemented as a Music Player, which enables it to be active on the iPhone even when the iPhone is locked and its screen is turned off.
|
|
|
|
As a music player, Wake Me There can play your selected music before you fall asleep. As you fall asleep,it will gradually lower the volume of the music to the level that you like, or it can make it totally silent.
|
|
|
|
Wake Me There uses Location Services that are part of your Mobile Device. You do not need to have GPS but you must make sure that your Mobile Device can detect its location by using the mobile phone infrastructure.
|
|
|
|
To assist you in selecting your destinations and keep the history of your trips, “Wake Me There” uses Geo Names Web Services for searching locations online using free text, and Google Maps to see the location on the map. Using Google maps, you can verify a location on the map, and if this is the location you are looking for, you just tap it to select as a destination for the trip.
|
|
|
|
Wake Me There is designed to conserve your battery, the use of the GPS or any Location Services hardware is limited to a very small part of the entire trip. For example, in a 100 miles trip at an average speed of 60 miles per hour, the GPS or Location Services will be activated for about 2 minutes.
